Our Story 

Did you know we almost shut down the restaurant? But a guest who was a huge advocate of Out Of The Blue was horrified and was able to convince that the idea of Out Of The Blue was alive with our small community of guests. With renewed hope, lots of feedback and passion Out Of The Blue grew from a 30 seater to a 180 seater restaurant.

We went back to basics. Best possible ingredients, fresh imported we had and we used. The scope of the menu was widened. More pastas were added and we developed our signature tomato sauce and our famous Masala Mafia Pasta. Our version bbq sauce and smoked bbq sauce were created which have become extremely popular. Ceasar Salad was revisited and came Ceasars Out Of The Blue with a freshly made blue cheese dressing. Its often we here, that I travelled across town to have your salad. Our version of bruchettas often touted as the best ever and pesto with our secret recipe is unmatched. Fondue, the perfect option for friends, family and your date. Nothing brings people closer than sharing food and fondue is the ultimate in sharing that experience.

We recognised that there was a need for healthy and we embraced the idea of healthier options. There were grilled appetisers and there is Spa Fridays our wellness lunch. We introduced low carb options. The principle style of cooking is grilling

If there is health but there is also comfort food. There is a need to unwind to an agreeable meal which warms the heart and we have a range of fondue and risotto and decadent desserts. Risotto are perhaps the ultimate comfort food.

Our cocktails program gave our guests an extensive choice and added to the overall experience. Our cocktails have become more popular every passing year. It was our guests feedback which enabled us create this cocktails program. All our cocktails have been approved by our guests. Its hard to go wrong there. We embraced the idea of wine. Before the wine culture picked up we introduced a large selection of wine by the glass. The idea was to encourage guests to try our premium blends. Till today we haven’t been proven wrong.

Food was not enough, we wanted a place which would appeal to all senses. We introduced Night Of The Artist every Tuesday nights where you get a free painting. Often you will see an exhibition or artist painting live at Out Of The Blue. Its fun and a souvenir to remember an evening by. Jazz, Brazilian dancers and one man bands were introduced every night. Out fo The Blue is a not and will never be a loud place. People have been inspired and have sung along and some have even danced to our musicians. We celebrated vents like Father Day and Mothers day to reconnect with our audience. We thanked our guests with events like Kingfisher Bazaar and Supper Theatre.

Our ambience will tell you that this is the place where you want to retire and spend rest of the evening. The candles in the courtyard have a typical and an unusual style. It was actually introduced to us by a well wisher and a guest of the restaurant. It was inspired by camps in Rishikesh where they used mud lamps covered with paper. We tried it and it was magic. Since then we have improved the settings and guests have continued to appreciate the soft intimate settings of our restaurant.

It was by your feedback which we have embraced that a lot of the improvements, change and reinvention have happened. Please do continue to write in and give your feedback.

The Meal Experience 

Restaurant have long known that they don’t provide food, they provide a meal experience. This idea was normally limited addition of service and perhaps ambience. We have a broader definition where we believe that we provide memories and it consists of the small things we and the food, service, ambience and entertainment.

The meal experience at Out Of The Blue consists of three parts

What we do 

Innovation 

Continual improvement is a concept we firmly believe in. New food have been created. Some by design, some by dreams and some by mistakes i.e. design gone wrong. Desi Fondue, our famous Bruchetta were actually mistakes which we have perfected. Cottage Cheese Corriander Jalapeno, Out Of The Blue smoked bbq sauce you wont get anywhere else. Masala Mafia, a chefs dream, translated to a recipe has been often copied but have the original with us.

Events 

We like to celebrate. The best days like Mothers Day, fathers Day and Women's Day are celebrated. We are the home to our famous Kingfisher Bazaar.

Food & Service 

We do take measure to continually improve the way we make our food and the quality of our service. Amongst the first to give reservation confirmation for hassle free reservation are amongst the small improvements we have been making.

Fun 

W Day Lunch which is the best value lunch for women who lunch has a Destiny Bazaar. Spa Friday, get a foot massage, every Friday afternoon. Crayons for kids. Live Music 5 times a week. Are some of the things we do for you.
